Here is a peek... yep, just a peek, at my latest quilt. It's called Big Girls Still Play with Blocks. I had this ingenious idea (or so I thought)... to take one of my favorite blocks (Girls Favorite) and enlarge it... to 55" -- which would leave me big spaces to quilt... so here is the beginning

Can you believe it! Like I said I have been a crazy woman trying to finish this quilt and it is done! Its still wrinkly from the dryer (ahhhh) and I haven't blocked it yet, but here's a peek at the finished quilt...

And for some strange reason it appears off-white -- must be the lighting. Once I have all the wrinkles out and the binding is on I will take it outside for some good pictures. Until then... goodnight!

Bella Fiore... halfway there!

I was quilting like a crazy woman and managed to reach the halfway point today. Woohoo! Anyway, I'm very tired so here's a quick pic -- now its time for pizza!

Bella Fiore... Day 2

Okay, I'm sure by Day 3 or 4 I'll stop counting but for now it sounded good. Okay, I've been quilting for the majority of the day and here's what I have to show you...

and I'm starting to like it better -- still not loving it, but getting there. It always starts to look better once you get rid of some of those pesky blue lines!


There's still about 2-3 hours left of work in this day... but no promises. These poor arms are tired!

Sharman's Vintage Garden... done.

Okay, Jeannie has been way too productive in her quilt making! Here is Sharman's Vintage Garden (embroideries and pattern by Jenny Haskins) -- another king size embroidered quilt! I think this one turned out great -- just a couple pics!

Aquamarine... done!

It is Saturday -- Jeannie's quilt is done -- so that means I am still on schedule! Hurrah, hooray, woohoo!!! Here are a couple of final pics of Jeannie's quilt -- I think this one is going in the PSL show so you'll all be able to check it out up close soon enough!

Jan's quilt is DONE!

Finally... a little delayed due to emergency surgery on one of the dogs and also the dreaded computer malfunction (my desktop is about to crash; it is stuck in a loop and won't get past the Windows XP boot screen) -- so all in all it's been a crazy weekend and wacko day! Okay, here is Jan's beauty... WOW! Please excuse the poor over-lit photo -- I took it outside so you could get the full effect of the quilting -- that darn sunshine!
