Finally... a little delayed due to emergency surgery on one of the dogs and also the dreaded computer malfunction (my desktop is about to crash; it is stuck in a loop and won't get past the Windows XP boot screen) -- so all in all it's been a crazy weekend and wacko day! Okay, here is Jan's beauty... WOW! Please excuse the poor over-lit photo -- I took it outside so you could get the full effect of the quilting -- that darn sunshine!
The quilt is beautiful and I'm sure the quilting is, too, but we can't see it! Boo Hoo! I guess I'll have to wait to see it in person. Sorry to hear about your dog . . . hope all is well now.
ReplyDeleteOh, if you click on the picture it will open in another window REALLY big and you can see the quilting. The fur baby is doing much better today -- goes on thursday for the first bandage removal and stitches checkup!
ReplyDeleteI can see it... IT IS AWSOME!!! click on it and it will file the screen so you can see it.
ReplyDeleteOkay Karen i am going to try something similar with a black on black background~of course not as sphisticated but a good attempt~thanks for the inspiration! How do you measure your four large interior half circle leaf shaped thingies? Do you use a tool for half circle or do you wing it? It does not look wong~ haha~I mean it looks perfectly measured...
ReplyDeleteThank you all... RHQ-I do use a tool, it's an Arch Guide by Linda's Elec Quilters. It is meant for SID on double wedding rings -- ask me if I've EVER used it for that! LOL
