Jeanne's PMS Quilt

Check out Jeanne's PMS Quilt a monthly sampler from the Jam Patch. PMS stands for Patch Monthly Sampler - this is the 4th PMS Quilt I've quilted so far.

Jeanne decided to be different and set the blocks on point -- she also didn't use all the connecting blocks which gives the quilt a totally different look -- one of those simple things that amazes me! She did, however, utilize 5 varying width borders -- very nicely! She also used some really rich colors -- I hope they look as good in the picture as well as they do in person.

Here are the other PMS quilts I've done lined up next to each other -- check out the differences colors and placement make... amazing! They belong to Madeline, Mary, and Sally.

Sally's PMS Quilt is done!

Sally's PMS Quilt is finally done. I haven't really worked on it since Wednesday morning. I had an awful migraine on Thursday and it carried into Friday -- only a very tiny bit of quilting got done. Honestly, only a very tiny bit of anything got done. But today I got busy and finished it - it looks great!

This is the third PMS (Patch Monthly Sampler-JaM Patch) that I've done. I still amazes me how different the same quilt looks just by changing the colors and layout. One day soon I'll post the pictures all together so you can see the differences.

Here is Mary's PMS (Patch Monthly Sampler - JaM Patch) Quilt... totally different look than Madelines - I just love that!




She really did a great job on this didn't she!

Madeline's Quilt is Done!

Poor Madeline left for the JaM Patch this morning thinking that her quilt was not done. Which, at that time, it wasn't! But, hot off the frame and on its way to meet her at the JaM Patch right before her PMS class... yes it was! I try, and sometimes it actually works.


Here it is -- told you it was bright -- the camera is much more cooperative today.

Madeline's PMS Quilt... the beginning

Here's a peek at Madeline's PMS (Patch Monthly Sampler/JaM Patch) Quilt. Its only the beginning because I'm on the first thread color. I'm still not sure what the next color will be, but as you all know, the quilt will tell me what it wants. I just love when they do that!





The coloring of these pics is a little off (not sure why), must be from the lighting? The fabric is very, very bright!! Must've made the camera color shy!

Anyway, I can't wait to finish this quilt and then to finish the other 2 that I have for other customers. It always amazes me to see how different the same quilt is just with a change of fabrics and quilting style. Once they're all done, I'll post pics of the three next to each other so that you can see.

Who's sewing...

I may not be getting any quilting done today, but Madeline has made herself at home at my kitchen table! She needed some help with her mitered corners on her PMS (Patch Monthly Sampler-JaM Patch) quilt - I helped with the miters and then she set up shop and went to town. Notice all the lighting she has added to my machine. I'm just here to help I guess... maybe I'll get to work on something later...maybe
