Besides finishing the beautiful raffle quilt last month, I did manage to stitch just a few client quilts.  If you didn't read about the raffle quilt, please do so here.  You can win this amazing quilt!!!  Check it out peeps!

Okay, back to client quilts.  I had some beauties, here comes all the quilty goodness -- I know you guys love looking at pictures way more than hearing me babble:

Raffly Awesomness!

I have been working on the raffle quilt for the Port Saint Lucie Crazy Quilters for what seems like months.  Not really, but it's been awhile!  My time and stitches on the raffle quilt are donated so I kinda have to take little breaks and work on customer stuff in between all the awesomeness.  More on those quilts in another post -- this one is all about the raffle quilt, and here it is -- like I said, awesomeness!

The quilt was pieced and appliqued by several PSLCQ guild members.  They did a fantastic job!  Here's a picture of all of us with the quilt -- it wasn't quite finished in this pic, but still amazing!

We are calling the quilt "Tropical Paradise", and it is a nice queen size, the pattern is Flowers for My Wedding Ring by Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx.  Marian picked the colors and did an awesome job with the layout.

Anyway, back to the point of a raffle quilt.  You can purchase tickets for this beauty!  They are $1 each and the drawing will be held February 8, 2014 (the last day of the show).  Just a nice warning -- you'd better buy a lot because I plan on buying a lot and I really want to win!  Info on the tickets can be found on the guild website on the 2014 Show Page here just scroll down until you see the quilt.

Hope you buy oodles of tickets and Good Luck!

Long overdue...

Wow, it has been almost three weeks since my last post. I knew I was overdue for a post, but never realized it had been that long. So very sorry to my blogger fans, that was extremely rude of me.

Okay, a quick summary of customer quilts would go like this...
Jeri's "Grandmother's House" -- super cute!

Jeri's Santa Sampler -- another super cutie!!

Darlene's star quilt (it reminds me of summer and watermelons).
Penny's two Baltimore Halloween quilts.

Yes, I know... the studio walls have been painted... the details are coming in another post!

Mary's Feathered Goose -- an awesome pattern by Judy Niemeyer

Ruth's Baltimore Album (raffle quilt for the Blandford, MA fair)

Okay... that sums up almost everything. I say almost because I will have a separate post on another "bad border" quilt, a separate post on my latest machine dilemma, and also on my studio redo. I didn't want to overwhelm everyone -- LOL, no posts for three weeks and then bam! For those of you that follow on facebook this is all old news. But for those that don't I will soon be back to my normal posting schedule. Thanks for bearing with me!

Next up...

Okay, other than a quick run to the Jam Patch tomorrow morning, here is what I'll be working on for the entire weekend -- I can't wait! This top belongs to Gail, it is The Feathered Goose pattern by Judy Niemeyer and I have been drooling over it since I received it!!!

Not only is it an awesome pattern, but it is also done in what I refer to as my colors -- deep rich autumn tones!! I have such big plans for this quilt -- hopefully my sore aching body will cooperate! It's getting better, and my range of movement is improving... LOL!

Oh, before I forget, another reason why I love quilting for Gail... take a look at her piecing; its not often I'll show the backside of an unquilted top, but ladies, this is pretty close to perfect piecing if I must say so!
