Here's Madeline's Hearts from the Past quilt... its from the book "Lickety Split Quilts"... I know this because I also have the book! Althought they claim the quilts are "lickety-split" you would actually have to start the quilt for the lickety part to work... LOL which is why mine isn't done yet. Really, Madeline said it went together quite smoothly so we're gonna have to believe her on this one. Anyway, here's the quilt... j

One week to go...
Today begins the one week countdown until the PSL Crazy Quilters 2010 Show. Yesterday was judging of the quilts and from all reports seemed to have gone smoothly.... that's always a good thing!
During the next week I will probably be CRAZY busy in preparation for the show. Remember, this year I rented a booth to sell patterns. I have three wholecloth patterns that will be available.... Shield of Sarsens, Iron Acanthus, and my newest one... Bella Fiore. I had really wanted to come up with some smaller items for people to try, but time just did not allow for my creativity to soar. Don't fret... there is always something cooking on my back burner!!!
Until my next post, happy quilting--happy life!

Even though these items are done, it is still beyond crazy at my house! The show is less than three weeks away and I am at the point of insane... just bear with me!

Bella Fiore... D O N E
Can you believe it! Like I said I have been a crazy woman trying to finish this quilt and it is done! Its still wrinkly from the dryer (ahhhh) and I haven't blocked it yet, but here's a peek at the finished quilt...
And for some strange reason it appears off-white -- must be the lighting. Once I have all the wrinkles out and the binding is on I will take it outside for some good pictures. Until then... goodnight!Saturday, January 2, 2010
Bella Fiore... halfway there!

Bella Fiore... Day 2
Okay, I'm sure by Day 3 or 4 I'll stop counting but for now it sounded good. Okay, I've been quilting for the majority of the day and here's what I have to show you...
and I'm starting to like it better -- still not loving it, but getting there. It always starts to look better once you get rid of some of those pesky blue lines!
There's still about 2-3 hours left of work in this day... but no promises. These poor arms are tired!
