Some quilty catch-up

It's been awhile since I've posted so grab a cuppa and let's catch up!

Diane's Roses Gathering Basket
Diane does the most beautiful hand applique ever!  And she almost always leaves me tons of open background to stitch.  I used my Edges marking rulers for the framework - over on my Patreon you can see the marking (subscription required) and the quilting (subscription required).

A couple pieces for Jan
First was this super cute wall hanging

And then this super snuggly flannel with all over loopies

Peggy's quilts

Peggy had several quilts saved up.  The first was a finish... she had started the quilt on her domestic and just couldn't finish the borders so this one went super quick

Next was an E2E - Four Patches and Friends/Open a Can of Worms.  I used my KM_Flourish02_e2e pattern.

Then was her Asian Big Block floral. I used my Frippery_03_km pattern.

And then another custom, this beautiful Tennessee Waltz

I think that brings us up to date... if I forgot anything I'll make sure to post it soon!

Kathy's E2Es

Kathy had a bunch of quilts that needed some Elevate™ love.

First up was a 1930's Drunkards Path with Applique -- digital quilting design frippery01_km

Next was Tropical Butterflies & Flowers -- digital quilting design butterfly03_km

Then was Love Links (pattern by Studio 180) -- digital quilting design featherduo_km (which when you increase the size looks kinda like palm leaves)

Then a Hunters Star quilt (pattern by Studio 180) -- digital quilting design EQS Star in Square2 e2e

Next up was an Aurora quilt (pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts/Edyta Sitar) -- digital quilting design JR_tortoiseShellSpirals_e2e

And finally, Patchwork Barn (pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts/Edyta Sitar) -- digital quilting design ModButterfly01_km

DO YOU FOLLOW??

If you follow my blog you might have clicked the Follow By Email widget that used to be on the side bar.  It was a great feature... every time I made a new blog post it would send you an email - brilliant, right?   Well... according to Blogger that feature is being put out to pasture in the next few weeks.  As a result, you'll have two options:

Option 1 check back here often to see what's new or what you might have missed

Option 2 Visit my website and enter your email in the WANT UPDATES box and press Update Me!

If you choose option 2 you can be prepared to receive a little newsletter type email.  I try to only send stuff once a month (at most) because no one actually likes being slammed with excessive emails.  The newsletter keeps you in the know on what's happened here on my Client blog, my quilt artist blog, and also any new products or big news I might have.  And, if receiving them every so often gets to be too much, you always have the option to unsubscribe at any time.

Linda's Sunflower Gatherings Quilt

I was finally able to get a couple good pics of Linda's Sunflower Gatherings quilt (pattern by Primitive Gatherings) after a few days of rain.

This beauty has an 80/20 batt and I used my new Edges marking rulers (Set 1) to create the framework around the blocks.  If you want to see more about the marking and stitching of the framework you can find the link here.

Pat made this bulldog quilt to send her granddaughter off to college:

And the Elevate™ helped with this E2E for Kris on her Checkmark Quilt:

I think that brings you all up-to-date!  Fingers crossed I can stay on track and post in a timely fashion.

Three more for Jan!

It's been almost forever since I've posted!!  Apparently my blogging skills are falling short... way short!

Anyway, I had been working on these three beauties for Jan and I totally forgot to share them with you all... so here they are super quick.

First was a gimongous tablerunner:

And this awesome denim beauty:

And this just blocks beauty:

Judy's Grandmothers Fan

I've just finished Judy's Grandmothers Fan quilt.  This one was a lot of fun (aren't they all)... but I did have to fix a little wonky here and there.  I share how I handled it in my groups (links below), you know, if you want to hear all about how and why...

So here's the finished pic... sorry it's not a full photo but my quilts boards are currently unavailable.

And a couple of detail pics:

And a couple peeks of the back as well:

If you want to see more on this quilt as well as many others, you can subscribe to one of my paid subscriptions where I share exclusive content - there are two options:

1 - Patreon (patreon.com/quiltyk) which has three content levels (this has the most content)

2 - Quilty Know-How FB Group a more laid-back FB style.  Follow this link for details.

Until next time... Happy Stitches!
