Mary's Gardeners Alphabet Quilt

Late last night I finished Mary's Gardeners Alphabet quilt (pattern by Crabapple Hill Studio).  I had to wait until this morning to get the full flat pic.

Diane's Roses

 Recently I finished this beauty for Diane.  Diane teaches hand applique - she does the most fantastic applique I've ever seen.  She is teaching this at Road 2 California later this month.  I also have to mention this quilt is 108x108 -- it was too big for my photo boards so these are the best pics I could manage:

Jan's Quilts

 First up was the owls... oh... these owls are precious!  The patterns are from the Outstanding Owls book by Darcy Ashton.  I've actually started making some as well... although mine will take quilt a while before they are ready for quilting.

Then on to the Sunflowers - I ghosted a few in the background.  I love how this piece turned out!

And then some poppy flowers - this background was more about creating some texture.

Last, but not least, wool squares with some fun flowers in the border.  Some all-over scrolls was perfect for this!

Kris's Moonglow

 Kris picked up her Moonglow (pattern by Jinny Beyer) quilt this morning so now I can share!  I have wanted to quilt a Moonglow for some time now but yet none had come through my client workload (and you know me and piecing... like it takes me 85 years to do anything) - so I was super excited when Kris added this to the schedule.

Well... it was originally on the schedule for September and well... L I F E... so here it is the end of November and it is finished (better late than never, right?).

And... not a single feather on it!  Both Kris and I wanted the quilting to be different than all the other Moonglows out there -- I think it turned out awesome.  Well, Kris does too!  It's always nice when your client loves it when they pick the quilt up... and then texts again later telling you how much they really love it!  I have the best clients!!

So yeah, one quilt caught up but I'm still pretty far behind schedule... looks like December will be full of client work (normally I take most of it for myself).

Shay's Australian Wedding Ring

I finished this beauty for Shay right before I left for Houston but this is the first chance I've had to share about it.  The pattern is by Lynette Anderson (that's the only info I have, sorry).

Now I'm working on a Moonglow for Kris... I'm so far behind schedule but hoping to be all caught up before the end of the year.  I know, I know... the best plans... hahahaha

Kathy's New York Beauty Fans

 I've just finished this beautiful quilt for Kathy.  It's her New York Beauty Fans (she's been working on it for like10 years!) -- it turned out awesome!

Here's a few pics -- sorry about the lighting and the angles - the quilt was bigger than my boards so this was the best I could get.

Martha's Starry Bouquet

I've been dodging storms for over two weeks... me and lightning have a history... it's not a good one.  But after two weeks of trying my best to quilt during the oddest of hours (for me at least), I've finally finished Martha's quilt.  It is a beauty, and a biggie... 108x108!  So, excuse my not so perfect photos - it's too big for my boards to get a nice flat pic.

I used my Edges (Set 2) to mark the frames around the open blocks and then filled with feathers.  You can see some of the stitching on this beauty over on my patreon (subscription required).

So now on to the next client quilt, another big one, and now two weeks behind schedule.

Diane's Roses Gathering Basket
Diane does the most beautiful hand applique ever!  And she almost always leaves me tons of open background to stitch.  I used my Edges marking rulers for the framework - over on my Patreon you can see the marking (subscription required) and the quilting (subscription required).

Peggy's quilts

Peggy had several quilts saved up.  The first was a finish... she had started the quilt on her domestic and just couldn't finish the borders so this one went super quick

Next was an E2E - Four Patches and Friends/Open a Can of Worms.  I used my KM_Flourish02_e2e pattern.

Then was her Asian Big Block floral. I used my Frippery_03_km pattern.

And then another custom, this beautiful Tennessee Waltz

Linda's Sunflower Gatherings Quilt

 I was finally able to get a couple good pics of Linda's Sunflower Gatherings quilt (pattern by Primitive Gatherings) after a few days of rain.

This beauty has an 80/20 batt and I used my new Edges marking rulers (Set 1) to create the framework around the blocks.  If you want to see more about the marking and stitching of the framework you can find the link here.
