Wilda's Vintage Rose

I just finished Wilda's beautiful Vintage Rose quilt (pattern by Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx).  I know the lighting isn't the best, but these are the best photos I could get as this quilt has a date with a FedEx truck tomorrow.

Some detail pics:

A peek at the back:

If you follow on my Facebook business page, you've already seen these, but for those that haven't, Wilda had quite a few setbacks while making this quilt.  It turned out there was quilt a bit of wonkiness to be worked in.  I used my regular basting square method and managed to ease most of the excess fabric in.

Here are some before and after pics of the basting:

  1. Karen, that's an absolutely amazing basting method. I learned so much from it, and I watch it over and over to make sure I'm not missing anything. Do you baste every quilt you do that way?
